Who We Are

Hjelmseth Construction was started in the early 1900’s in Norway by Paul Hjelmseth. While he loved his native land, always being an adventurer, he left Norway as a young husband and father to build on his dreams in North America. His skills and honesty quickly made him a much sought after home builder.

Two generation later Paul’s grandson, Jon, has continued the tradition of combining skill and honesty to build a reputation as a talented and trusted home builder. Whether you are wanting to build a new home or remodel a place you already call home Jon will listen to your dreams and build on them.
